Getting from Faro airport to Burgau

From Faro airport the road leads down to join the main EN125 highway. Cross over the flyover and join the highway heading north away from the city of Faro. Go past the turn off for Almancil, which was the old route along the Algarve and continue to the intersection with the IP1 motorway. The road west is signposted to Lisbon and Portimao. Miss the turn off and you head towards Loule, it is wise to turn around and come back to join the IP1.

Stay on the motorway as far as Lagos. Take the exit Lagos West and follow the signs for Sagres. Burgau is signposted to the left at a set of traffic lights off the main Sagres road. Follow this country road for one mile to the village of Burgau. Caravela Apartments are situated behind the Church off the main street
